VP, Payment Products, Digital Channels & Customer Experience Payments (PRESTO)

Dameon is a transformational executive with over 20 years of professional experience in various industries from telecommunications, retail, and insurance to transportation. As a digital channels, product, and customer experience leader, Dameon Wilson has an impressive track record of helping fortune 500 and public sector companies to surpass ambitious business goals and growth strategies.

Currently serving as Vice President, Product, Channels and Customer Experience at Metrolinx, Dameon is responsible for leading PRESTO’s payment modernization efforts including the launch of new ways to pay using your smartphone, smartwatch, debit or credit. In addition, Dameon leads the digital channels and device team, with a vision to deliver trusted, simplified, accessible, equitable and intuitive payment journeys to transit riders across the Greater Toronto, Hamilton and Ottawa area.

Prior to Metrolinx, Dameon served as Assistant Vice President at Manulife and led their direct- to-consumer business. In his role, Dameon was responsible for launching a new Manulife- CoverMe website that drove 20% increase in sales, new health and dental, life and travel insurance products, including Manulife Vitality.

Dameon holds an MBA from the Kellogg-Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from the Toronto Metropolitan University. He has also recently completed a Schulich Masters Certificate in Analytics and AI for Leaders.

Outside of his professional life, Dameon enjoys traveling with his wife and two kids to enjoy new cultures, mentoring and coaching teens, and spending quality time on the golf course with friends.
